Meeting Notifications Bylaws Change
NOTE: This change to the Wichita NOW bylaws was passed at the September 16, 2010 meeting.
Wichita NOW holds a meeting every month on the third Thursday of the month at the same time and location. We send a postcard every month to comply with our bylaws. There has been a bylaws change proposed, so that we may cut financial + environmental costs and quit sending the monthly postcards about these monthly meetings. The bylaws currently read as follows:
Regular meetings of Wichita NOW shall be held once a month. Written notice of all regular meetings shall be given prior to the meetings.
The proposed change would simply strike the word “written” from this section of the bylaws.

We will continue to send postcards for special events or any change in meeting time or location.
We are in the process of rolling out a new web design and Twitter account, members can also find us on Facebook. We will continue posting meeting reminders through these methods, as well as sending email reminders. If you prefer to keep receiving the post card, we ask that you “opt in” by:

We will vote on this change at the meeting to be held on September 16. All members in good standing at the time of the September meeting will be allowed to vote.
